Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a mixed-use development in Haiku, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Haiku Fire Station and Apparatus Bay & Haiku Fire Station Apparatus Bay Addition. The Work Covered Under This Contract Includes Demolition of the Proposed Project Site to the Extent Noted on the Drawings. Sitework Includes Both Onsite and Offsite Work. Offsite Work Includes Main Waterline Connection and Installation Work to East Kuiaha Road and Restoration of Roadway. Onsite Work Includes the Installation of Underground and Aboveground Utilities (Water, Sewer, Electrical, Etc.); Including a Detention Basin and Leach Field, Water Tank, Driveways and Parking Areas, Trash Enclosure, Diesel Fuel Tank, Fuel Dispenser, Site Lighting, Landscaping, and Transformer Pad. Building Construction Includes a New Fire Station and Apparatus Bay and a New Apparatus Bay Addition as Indicated on Drawings. Bidders Must Be Qualified in Compliance With Section 103d-310 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. Bidders Shall Be Licensed in Accordance With Chapter 444, Hrs, Relating to the Licensing of Contractors. The Contractor, and His Subcontractor(S), if Any, Shall Comply With All Applicable Revisions of the Law Relative to the Prevailing Wage Schedule, as Required Under Chapter 104, Hrs. No Proposal Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by One of the Following Forms. Of Bidder's Security: Cash, a Cashier's Check, a Certified Check on a Bank Insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a Bidder's Bond Executed by an Approved Surety Insurer, Made Payable to the County of Maui in the Manner, Form, and Amount Required in Section 103d-323 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The Proposal Guaranty Shall Be Equal to at Least Five Percent (5%) of the Total of the Bid Submitted. Bidders Must Correctly Prepare and Submit the Documents Listed in Proposal. ** pre bid info : While Attendance at the Pre-bid Meeting is Not Mandatory, Bidders Are Strongly Encouraged to Attend Both the Pre-bid Meeting and Site Visit.
