Kihei Fire Station Replace Rear Driveway. This is a construction project for replacing the rear driveway at the Kihei Fire Station. The intent ofthe specification is to describe the replacement of portions ofthe existing rear concrete slab on grade driveway at the subject property. These portions are shown on the project plan. Minor details ofthe replacement and materials not specified herein are left to the discretion ofthe contractor who shall solely be responsible for the design and construction of not specified features. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, and equipment for mobilization, concrete saw cutting, demolition, disposal of construction debris, soil compaction and testing, reinforcing steel, concrete formwork, concrete placement and finishing, concrete slump testing, asphalt pavement patching, and other incidental work necessary to provide a complete installation noted in these specifications and project drawing. No Proposal Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by One of the Following Forms of Bidder's Security: Cash, a Cashier's Check, or a Certified Check on a Bank Insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a Bidder's Bond Executed by an Approved Surety Insurer, Made Payable to the Director of Finance in the Manner, Form, and Amount Required by Section 103d-323 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The Proposal Guaranty Shall Be Equal to at Least Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid Submitted.
