The contractor shall provide all labor and equipment necessary to complete the work specified. All work shall comply with all City requirements. The contract coversJanuary 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026, with the option to extend the contract for one (1) additional year upon mutual agreement between the City of Newark and the selected vendor(s). DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work consists of providing adequate clearance of tree limbs around primary 4 kV, 12.470 kV, and 34 kV electrical lines and secondary distribution lines. It will be required at times for the contractor to work in close proximity to live 4.16 kV, 12.470 kV, and 34.5 kV using appropriate safety equipment. The contractor shall furnish all the equipment and labor for the satisfactory and safe operation when trimming around 4 kV, 12.470 kV, and 34 kV lines. The work shall be performed at various locations throughout the City of Newark.
