The project involves constructing a 45,036 square foot wellness center which includes one gymnasium with bleacher seating, locker rooms, exercise rooms, and offices, a childhood development center comprising classrooms, offices, and a kitchen, as well as an outdoor aquatic center containing an 8-lane pool and outdoor pool deck. The gymnasium is a pre-engineered metal building. All structures in the new construction use a steel frame with metal stud and brick veneer metal panel exterior walls. The roof consists of metal joists with a steel deck and TPO adhered membrane. There are also covered outdoor exercise spaces made of steel framing with a perforated metal panel canopy.
