Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Opelousas, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

City of Opelousas South City Park Center New Community Center and Site Demolition shall include the following but are not limited to : o Single story facility w/ two sides o Conventional metal wall & roof panels & brick entry o Concession stands, ticket booths, restrooms, janitor closets, concession storage, regulation basketball courts o Interior hollow metal doors, interior double hollow metal doors, exterior double hollow metal doors with partial glass, exterior double hollow metal doors, roll up security doors at concessions, secure transaction windows at ticket booth o Concession stand equipment, tilt-up basketball goals with adjustable heights, scoreboards, PA systems, and signage. o Stationary bleachers o Gypsum board interior finish & acoustical tile ceilings (restrooms, ticket booth, janitors closet, auxiliary closets, concession storage, & concession stand) o Multipurpose gymnasium flooring o Water fountains, sinks, restroom accessories. o Point of use water heaters at restrooms and concession. o Electrical and Plumbing meters o Mechanical units & mechanical yards o Sidewalks & ADA parking o Removal of existing pool house & foundation, selected trees & shrubs, full size pool & kiddie pool, sidewalks, portion of running track, light poles, parking bollards, mise, concrete slabs, fencing, water fountains, mechanical equipment, electrical boxes, piping, sewers, and manhole o Relocation of swing/play sets & concrete/wooden benches and removal of foundations (new placement determined by owner o Site grading and drainage improvements ADD ALTERNATE #1: Insulated Prefabricated metal wall and roof panels in lieu of conventional metal wall and roof panels ADD ALTERNATE #2: Operable bleachers in lieu of portable aluminum bleachers ADD ALTERNATE #3: Ceiling & wall sound attenuation panels, (2) dividing curtains, volleyball net systems w/ post anchors, volleyball court striping & judge stands, (8) biddy basketball goals & biddy court striping, (2) additional scoreboards, (1) bike rack, (2) portable stages, (2) PA systems, and food service equipment: (2) popcorn machines & (4) shelving units. Sealed bids are invited for the City of Opelousas South City Park Center, Project Number 20231117. Contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for Building Construction are eligible. Bidders must have an active UEI Number verified on www.sam.gov. Bid security of 5% of the base bid and all alternates is required. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Mobilization and procurement of materials must begin within ten working days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. The contract must be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Bidders must observe employment conditions and minimum wage rates as required by law, comply with Executive Order 11246, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, federal and state laws, and bonding and insurance obligations. All federal regulations, including 2 CFR Part 200, and the U.S. Treasury's Capital Projects Fund Program Requirements apply. Electronic bidding is available via LaMATS eAuction & Bid Services. Registration on the bidding platform is required for all bidders. No bidder may withdraw within 45 days after bid opening. Special accommodations requests must be made at least seven days prior to bid opening. Contracts must address legal remedies, termination provisions, equal employment opportunity, federal wage and labor standards, environmental regulations, debarment, anti-lobbying, and related federal procurement requirements. Completion-The Bidder shall agree to fully complete the contract within (365) consecutive calendar days
