Hydrated Lime Quick Lime. This proposal is for furnishing hydrated bulk lime (NSF certified as a drinking water additive) to the City of Opelousas Water Treatment Plant and the City of Kaplan Water Treatment Plant. The contract period shall be for twelve (12) months from the date of the contract award, and the price shall remain firm for the period of the contract. Delivery will be made within four (4) working days from the date of an order to the facility address as may be established. Only fresh lime will be acceptable. The transport truck shall have been used for lime transport only. It is the supplier's responsibility to check each shipment and determine if any traces of toxic material or any bacteriologically impure material is present in the transport. Failure to do this shall be grounds for rejection by the City of Opelousas and/or the City of Kaplan. Question regarding the City of Opelousas Lime uses and quantities needed may be directed to Leisa Anderson, City of Opelousas, landerson@cityofopelousas.com. For City of Kaplan, please direct your inquiry to lacpc@lamats.net. The city of opelousas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids received.
