The Project includes the following Work Construction of new, mechanical wastewater treatment facility adjacent to the Citys existing wastewater treatment plan and site improvements including grad-ing, piping, and electrical improvements along with the installation of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) at each of the Citys existing lift stations. The Owner requires the Project to be Substantially Completed within 380 Calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 410 Calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. This Project is Federally funded by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) through the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. All requirements need to be met to be considered as Bidder as described in the GEFA Supple-mental General Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Fund Construction Contracts. Construction of new, mechanical wastewater treatment facility adjacent to the City's existing wastewater treatment plant and site improvements including grading, piping, and electrical improvements along with the installation of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) at each of the City's existing lift stations. Bids will be accepted from properly licensed contractors who attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check for no less than five percent of the bid price. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, and submit the required Georgia Immigration and Security Form (Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit). Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be issued, and documents must be obtained from the issuing agent.
