Richardson Independent School District (RISD) is accepting competitive sealed proposals for the partial HVAC replacement at Lake Highlands High School, L Building. General Description of Scope of Work: 1. Replace existing chilled and heating water piping throughout the existing crawlspaces. 2. Replace existing 2-pipe unit ventilators and ceiling or floor mounted hydronic unit heaters with 4-pipe unit ventilators or fan coil units throughout the original portion of the school. 3. Upgrade the central plant to have independent chilled and heating water pumping systems. Currently there are a number of 2-pipe systems and change-over valves that allow for connection between the chilled and heating water system. These valves are to be replaced. 4. Replace existing chilled and heating water pumps in the central plant except for the primary chilled water pump serving the exterior air-cooled chiller which shall be relocated and re-used. 5. Replace controls associated with the central plant, unit ventilators, and other mechanical equipment or portions of the school that are upgraded. 6.
