The Town of Natick Department of Public Works is requesting contractors to submit bids to provide construction management, equipment, labor, and materials for construction of modifications to the existing landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) at the West Street Landfill (currently Sassamon Trace Golf Course) in Natick, Massachusetts. The 2025 GCCS Modifications Construction project is to be completed in accordance with the enclosed Bid Documents and includes the following general work activities Installation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation controls during construction Removal and replacement of ten existing landfill gas well vault structures Removal of existing 4" diameter landfill gas lateral piping Abandonment in-place of existing 4" diameter landfill gas lateral piping Installation of new 8" diameter landfill gas header and 4" diameter lateral piping and associated connections and modifications Final cover restoration including soil placement, geosynthetic repairs, and seeding disturbed areas The Work to be performed is the Landfill Gas Collection and Control Systems Project. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the Contract Drawings and contained in the Specifications. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, in a sealed envelope clearly marked "BID FOR LANDFILL GAS COLLECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS PROJECT." Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Every Bid must be fully in accordance with those Instructions. Each Bid must include: (1) a fully completed and properly executed "Bid Form for General Bid"; (2) Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders and made payable to the "Town of Natick." Minimum prevailing wage rates as per M.G.L, c, 149, 26 to 27D must be paid under this Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. Contract payment will be by the unit price and lump sum price method as indicated on the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Natick. The award of any Contract is subject to appropriation by Natick Town Meeting.
