Site work and paving for a road / highway in Claremont, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the Mills Avenue Between Moreno Street and Arrow Highway Improvements Project (C.I.P. 2025-7). Bids must be submitted on the required forms and accompanied by a bid bond or appropriate security amounting to at least 10% of the total base bid price. The successful bidder will need to provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the bid. All bonding must comply with State of California requirements, and bidders must comply with prevailing wage regulations. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and maintain this registration through the project duration. Bidders must hold a valid Class A contractor's license and self-perform at least 50% of the work. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder based on the base bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities. No pre-bid meeting will be held. The Contractor shall perform all Work within the time stipulated the contract and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete all of the Work required in strict compliance with the Contract Documents as specified
