Notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the Northfield Township Road District, Northfield Township, Illinois for the "Citation Lake Stormwater Improvements Project" in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications. Bids will be received for the following bid package: Citation Lake Stormwater Improvements Project. The project consists of construction of approximately 1,950 feet of storm sewer of various sizes (12"-36" diameter), underground stormwater storage system, and associated restoration. The project is generally located on Beach Lane, Whirlaway Drive, Longview Avenue, Techny Road, Central Avenue, and Garden Street in Unincorporated Northbrook, Illinois. Bidder is responsible for all measurements on site and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of work to be bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rules, or enactments of any governmental authority applicable to the work or the project. This project is in partnership with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC). This partnership includes requirements for compliance with MWRDGC's purchasing act, multi-project labor agreement for Cook County and affirmative action ordinance and diversity policies, amongst other requirements. Bidder is responsible for reviewing the entire bid document and exhibits and submit the required documentation as part of their sealed Bidder's Proposal. A bid security deposit in the amount of 10% of the base bid is required with the Bidder's Proposal. Acceptable forms of bid security deposit are described in the bid document. NON-MANDATORY There is no pre-bid meeting. Any questions regarding the specifications or bid information must be directed to Highway Commissioner, Michael Korman, at mike.korman@northfieldtownship.com. Answers to questions will be provided in writing and shared with all other known plan holders. Questions must be submitted by October 20, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Answers will be provided on or before October 22, 2025. The Northfield Township Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to accept a bid deemed to be in best interests of Northfield Township.
