The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following 1. All site and utility upgrades at Jamul Elementary School as shown on the construction documents to support the installation and operation of portable classroom buildings. Work in this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following a) Utility extensions (electrical, low voltage, technology, water and sewer) to building site locations. This includes the patching and repair of all surfaces damaged due to trenching and other construction. b) Installation of ac paving, concrete walks, fencing and gates as indicated in the Construction Documents. c) Other miscellaneous sitework and upgrades as indicated in the construction documents. The work consists of site and utility preparation for the installation of a new 24 x 40 pre-checked portable classroom building at grade with an asphalt foundation. It includes providing a fully automatic fire alarm system for the new relocatable, as well as associated site work including new asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks, and new and modified utility lines. Bidders must possess a valid State of California contractors' license (A/B) and be registered as a public works contractor. Bids must be submitted using the District-provided forms and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond and comply with all applicable labor, wage, and regulatory requirements, including those pertaining to the use of specific materials or systems such as the FCI Fire Alarm System.
