Bid details may become available for public review after the award decision is made. This project is classified as public works, and therefore, adherence to prevailing wage rates is mandatory. Description of Work This is a request for an informal bid to repair and replace existing window units to prevent water intrusion during rainfall and routine window washing. The awarded bidder shall furnish all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the scope of work as outlined below. 1) Vinyl Trim Modification and Resealing o Perform complete vinyl trim modifications and resealing of all designated windows. 2) Trim Preparation o Cut back existing vinyl trim on each window to allow proper seating and retention of glass panels. o Ensure all vinyl trim is fully seated prior to sealant application. 3) Surface Cleaning o Clean all sealing surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, debris, and contaminants ensure optimal adhesion. 4) Glass Alignment and Retention o Verify that each glass panel is securely held in place and properly aligned prior to sealing. 5) Sealant Application o Tape off the perimeter of each window to achieve a clean straight finish. o Apply commercial-grade polyurethane sealant rated for exterior use. o Tool the sealant to ensure a smooth finish and maximum adhesion. 6) Post-Application Inspection o Inspect each window post-application to verify seal integrity and appearance. 7) Materials Specification o Sealant Type: Commercial grade polyurethane sealant rated for exterior applications.
