As of December 31, 2025 the project has been awarded. The District is seeking proposals from pre-qualified firms for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services, which include pre-construction services such as design review, constructability review, and value engineering, as well as construction services for the Los Amigos Elementary School Renovation Project. Proposers and any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified. Mandatory pre-proposal site inspections/job walks will be held at the project site. The successful proposer must furnish the District with a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Guaranteed Maximum Price, prior to the start of construction services. All bonds must be secured from a surety that meets all State of California bonding requirements. Each proposer must be a licensed contractor with a Class B General Building Contractor license and maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. Proposals must follow the format described in the RFP, be submitted in a sealed envelope, and meet all required deadlines. The District will award the contract to the proposer submitting the best value proposal, pursuant to evaluation criteria in the RFP, and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the proposal process.
