Description

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Stamford, Connecticut. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project first and foremost is meant to increase safety. Additionally, mobility will be enhanced by creating safe and comfortable pedestrian and bicycle routes. The project includes several components to enhance safety and mobility including: Rebuilt sidewalks New pedestrian level lighting Right sized travel lanes Bump outs New crosswalks Street trees Two-way curb protected cycle track On-street parking Enhanced transit stops Shortened crosswalks As of October 7, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in 2026.
