Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Stanton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The Powell County Fiscal Court is requesting sealed bids for the replacement of an existing culvert. The culvert is located approximately 0.350 miles south of the junction KY 1639, on CR-1111 (Sand Lick Rd.) in Eastern Powell County, Kentucky. The contractor will be responsible for all damage to public and/or private property resulting from the work and must restore damaged roadway features and private property at no additional cost. The contractor is also responsible for the removal of the existing structure. The structure must meet the requirements specified in the Highway department’s specifications for road and bridge construction, Edition of 2020 specifications. Pre-qualification requirements: The contractor shall be approved and on the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Prequalified Contractors List. The contractor must include a certificate of liability insurance for their company. Prequalified disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, or disability in consideration for the awarding.
