Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Stanton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The Powell County Fiscal Court is requesting sealed bids for the replacement of an existing culvert located approximately 0.400 miles south of the junction KY 213, near the beginning of Morton Hollow Rd, on CR-1206 (Caudill Rd.) in Central Powell County, Kentucky. The contractor will be responsible for all damage to public and/or private property resulting from the work and must restore damaged roadway features and private property at no additional cost. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal of the existing structure. The structure must meet the requirements specified in the Highway Department’s specifications for road and bridge construction, Edition of 2020 specifications. The bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope. The Powell County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject all bids. Pre-qualification requirements: The contractor shall be approved and on the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Prequalified Contractors List and shall include a certificate of liability insurance. Prequalified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, or disability.
