Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.

The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment and appurtenances for the construction of a 383' long combination gabion/soil nail wall along Wheatfield Road. The project will also include clearing, grubbing, tree removal; erosion and sediment controls; full depth pavement reconstruction (1,160 SY); temporary pavement restoration (195 Tons); and 460' of guiderail. The proposal must be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check, or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of at least 10% of the total proposal. All proposals shall be effective for thirty (30) days, and the project, with the exception of the permanent pavement restoration, must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The permanent pavement restoration must be completed by April 17, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, said bonds to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance must also be provided, as specified in the bid documents. All submission of bids must be on the bid forms provided with the contract specifications. Township of Spring reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to Township of Spring, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Township of Spring also reserves its right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informality in the bid, and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid.
