Site work for a transportation facility in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility.

Contract No. 2025-01 includes cracksealing and remarking Runway 7-25. Bids must be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms and in accordance with the instructions contained in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. Each bidder must deposit with their proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid, in the form and subject to the conditions given in Section 20 of the General Provisions. Successful bidders must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) days after notification of acceptance of such proposals, as further detailed in the Contract Documents. Wages predetermined by the US Secretary of Labor and Industry, included in the specifications and contract documents and/or addenda, must be used in paying labor. All work is subject to the regulations contained in Division 8 of the Project Manual. Proposals must include the percentage involvement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises along with the names of the firms involved and completed certification. Certification as a DBE by the PA UCP is required for eligibility. This project consists of the rehabilitation of the pavement for Runway 7-25 at the Port Meadville Airport. The Base Bid involves cracksealing and full depth repairs as needed on Runway 7-25. Once the pavement has been repaired, pavement markings will be placed. This summation is for informational purposes only and is not part of the Contract Documents. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify and supplement the information contained herein by a thorough examination of the Contract Documents. Sheredy, EIT at adsheredy@gftinc.com Should a Bidder find discrepancies or ambiguities in, or omission from, the Contract Documents, or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once, and in any event, not later than seven days prior to submission of Proposal, notify the Engineer in writing who will send written Addenda to all Bidders where necessary
