Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; one-story above grade water / sewer project; one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project involves various contracts including: full replacement of the Race Street Pump Station and wet well (demolition of existing, full replacement, and related work); all electrical work for the new Race Street Pump Station; replacement of approximately 1,800 LF of directional drilled 14" HDPE sanitary sewer force main and 1,200 LF of 14" PVC sanitary sewer force main including associated pavement restoration; replacement and upsizing of approximately 2,800 LF of 10" gravity sewer along North Street, and replacement of 800 LF of 8" PVC sewer along Race Street; replacement of approximately 2,000 LF of 8" HDPE sanitary sewer force main at Gill Village Pump Station by HDD; demolition of existing building and construction of a four-bay maintenance garage at the Wastewater Treatment Plant; and all electrical work for the maintenance building. Each bid must include proposal security in the form of a certified check or bid bond of not less than ten percent of the total base bid price. Bidders must be listed on the official plan holders list to submit a bid, and all registered bidders must acquire contract documents via Northeast Blueprint & Supply Company for applicable fees. This contract is subject to U.S. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rate determinations and federal requirements concerning Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. Each proposal must state the full name of everyone interested in the bid. Bids must be sealed and marked with the contract letter and title. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding.
