The New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans is soliciting bids for Crossing Signal Replacement at 2 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana. Bidders are encouraged to include participation of eligible business entities (EBEs) as defined by the NOPB's Small Business Opportunity Program, and should provide a responsible plan for EBE participation, including stating participation goals and showing plans for their implementation. Information on EBE participation managed on prior projects should also be included. Only business entities certified as designated in the Program will count toward meeting contract participation goals. Work opportunities for participation include planning, development, construction, and operation of the project. Accepted certifications are from the SLDBE program run by the City of New Orleans, Louisiana Department of Economic Development's SBE Hudson Initiative, Louisiana Unified Certification Program, or the Federal Small Business Enterprise Program. Bids must include evidence of current certification. All questions must be submitted by the date indicated. Bids are to be submitted electronically at www.centralbidding.com along with all required documents including a completed and signed digital copy of the Bid Form and Proof of Authority. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their bid is successfully delivered before the deadline.
