Renovation of a residential development in Kingston, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
This project is for removing what remains of a failed epoxy flooring installation in a residential bathroom, preparation for, and the coating of the floor with new epoxy. All projects are subject to Environmental Surveying, which shall be conducted outside this Scope of Work and shall be completed before work commences on all properties. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove existing failed epoxy coating as far as necessary, and any compromised mortar as required to prepare for new epoxy coating. 2. Inspect flooring and wall areas affected prior to final installation of epoxy flooring. Remove and replace components as needed that could compromise the integrity of the final application. 3. Remove existing floor drain assemblies and replace with Zurn FD-2322 or equivalent. Complete floor drain box as per the attached detail below titled "Heavy Duty Floor Drain Option". One box is needed for each of the two floor drains. 4. Ensure all mortar is pitched as specified below towards floor drains to ensure no standing water will remain after applying the epoxy coating. All mortar to be applied per the manufacturer's instructions. 5. After consulting with the Point of Contact above for color selection, apply epoxy floor as per manufacturer's instructions, and attached Epoxy Resin Flooring Reference Standard. 6. All transition details below must be followed. Epoxy Flooring requirements: 1. Product selected shall meet all requirements listed in attached "Epoxy Resin Flooring Reference Standard" attachment. 2. Preparation and installation shall meet all standards outlined in "Epoxy Resin Flooring Reference Standard" Site Visit Optional *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
