Reference Number 0000401137 Purchase Type Duration: 6 months Option: 1 additional 6-month period The Ulster County Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to perform a comprehensive space needs assessment, which shall include evaluating the efficiency of existing spaces, determining potential needs, analyzing opportunities for space optimization, as well as other potential space alternatives if deemed necessary. In addition, the consultant shall provide a general review of the condition of building structures and systems to the extent relevant to space planning. This will involve developing space programming and preparation of detailed cost estimates. Certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) are encouraged to submit bids. Become familiar with courthouse operations by distributing a questionnaire to each division to determine additional space needs, including support spaces such as phone, electric, and IT. The Ulster County Courthouse, located at 285 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401, encompasses approximately 43,650 square feet.
