Site work for a civil project in Casper, Wyoming. Conceptual plans call for site work for a development; and water / sewer project.
In the spring of 2024, severe erosion was observed on the bank of a North Platte River tributary creek (the Creek) located near Village Drive in Casper, WY. This erosion resulted in the exposure of a section of an active utility pipe. The affected area is property of the Bureau of Land Management and is located near private property. The Casper Alcova Irrigation District asked the City of Casper to assist in remediating the erosion. A design for remediation of the primary area is being requested, along with a conceptual design for the remediation of a larger section of the creek. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
