Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the New Elementary School #7 for the School Board of the County of Culpeper Virginia. Bids must be submitted either in a sealed package clearly marked or electronically via eVA, Virginia's government agencies electronic procurement website. Contractors must be registered in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11, of the Code of Virginia. Bid security in the form of a bond or certified check is required in an amount not less than five percent of the base bid, executed for a period of not less than 60 days after the bid opening date and payable to the School Board of the County of Culpeper. The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis, consisting of the total base bid amount plus any or all alternates as determined by the Owner. Bid documents, including the project manual and drawings prepared by RRMM Architects, can be downloaded from the specified website, and any addenda will be made available online; it is the bidder's responsibility to check for and acknowledge all addenda. Addenda will become part of the bid and any resulting contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids.
