The Town of Culpeper is requesting quotes for the furnishing and hauling of Grade B sand for use in abrasive mixtures during the 2025-2026 winter season. The intent and purpose of this procurement is to establish a contract for a one-year term with an option to renew for up to three (3) one-year periods upon mutual agreement of the parties. The sand will be provided by the hauler and delivered to the Town's storage facility at 1835 Industry Drive, Culpeper, VA on an "as needed" basis. We will need a 24-hour notice prior to delivery. Manufactured (crushed) sand will not be accepted. The severity of the winter will regulate the quantity of sand to be purchased. All delivery prices shall be FOB (Free on Board) to our place of business. Delivery schedule: Delivery of all sand shall be made within 7 days from the date of receipt of delivery request from the Town of Culpeper.
