This Request for Indemnified Contractor is issued to establish a list of Indemnified Contractors capable of Performing Utility Installation Work within City Right-Of-Ways for private owners or developer's various projects throughout the years. The Contractor should have a proven record of serving quality installation work and previous experience in the Whitehorse area and can provide a one (1) year service warranty on Work completed on City utilities. The City is looking to maintain a list of Indemnified Contractors that can provide installation services on an as- and-when required basis from March 31, 2025 to April 30, 2028 or until another list of Indemnified Contractors has been established or this RFIC has been revoked by the City. The existing list of Indemnified Contractors will be null and void as soon as the new list of Indemnified Contractor is published. Contractors that were previously qualified through the City's Request for Indemnified Contractor need to re-apply and re-qualify to remain on the list. This is an ongoing process and submissions will be accepted throughout the Term or until another RFIC has been issued or this RFIC has been revoked by the City. New Contractors may be permitted to apply for inclusion to the list. The City will consider new applications and will notify applicants of the outcome. The same qualification requirements and evaluation process that are set out in this RFIC will apply to the ongoing application process.
