Project to be completed with contractor who will install, operate and maintain chargers. Chargers will be installed at contractor's expense. City has secured $220K in State Incentives (CaleVIP) and $400 K in additional State Incentives through SBCAG (SB1). City contractor to install two duel-port Direct Curent Fast Chargers(300kW each) in the E. Library parking lot closest to south entrance. Project includes bollards and restriping, new signage, power modules, switchgear & meter, charger units, trenching, minor landscaping. SCE work includes new pole in ROW, new drop, new transformer in landscaped peninsula near South entrance. No equipment to be located in the ROW The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
