Renovation of a museum in Camden, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,665-square-foot, three-story above grade museum.

Question Deadline 12/02/2025 Every request for an interpretation relating to clarification or correction of the plans, specifications, or other bid documents must be made in writing, addressed to the architect/engineer and the DPMC Director, and must be received at least five (5) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The project consists of the rehabilitation and adaptation of three NJ State owned 19th century townhouses connected to the Walt Whitman Historic Site. Exteriors are being restored to the 1884-1892 time period. Two townhouses will be rehabilitated for barrier free accessibility, visitor center expansion, exhibition area and visitor comfort facilities. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. C. Project Duration: Substantial Completion is required within 270 consecutive calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Minority Percentage Goal Requirement For This Contract Is 19% Per Skilled Craft. The Female Percentage Goal Requirement For This Contract Is 6.9% Per Skilled Craft. All questions concerning the Small Business Set-Aside Program should be addressed to Division of Revenue and Enterprises Services Small Business Enterprise Department of the Treasury 33 West State Street, 5th Floor P.O. Project Location - 326, 328, and 332 Martin Luther King Blvd., Camden, NJ 08103 Project No: P1172-00 involves the Walt Whitman House Visitor's Center Rehabilitation at 326, 328 and 332 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Camden, NJ. The contract is to be bid as a single bid (lump sum all trades) for Historical Restoration (C024). Bidders must be classified for Historical Restoration (C024) or must name subcontractors classified in Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029), Plumbing (C030), HVACR (C032), and Electrical (C047). Failure to list all required DPMC Classified subcontractors will render the bid non-responsive. This project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and has been designated as a Small Business Set-Aside Opportunity with a goal of awarding 25 percent of the total contract value to a Small Business Enterprise at the prime or subcontract level. The contract also includes a minority percentage goal requirement of 19% per skilled craft and a female percentage goal requirement of 6.9% per skilled craft. Only bids from contractors who attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be accepted. Bidders must submit bids electronically using the Bid Express service. No paper bids will be accepted.
