Site work for a development in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.

Portable Landfill Litter Fences - Rebid Bid No. 26-113 The goal is to obtain commercially produced portable landfill litter fence units that can function effectively in capturing/containing windblown litter in challenging operational situations, inclement weather, and high-wind conditions. Specifications 1. Each individual fence easily moved into desired position by landfill equipment which includes, but is not limited, to CAT D8T/D9T Waste Handler dozer with semi-u blade and CAT 826K/836K landfill compactor with straight blade. The blades are typical of those offered for landfill applications by the manufacturer, meaning they include the trash rack extension. 2. Each fence to be constructed with a lifting bracket on the front of each fence for the blade on the dozer and/or compactor to lift a single unit. The lifting bracket must be configured/constructed such that the fence unit is balanced and will not tip during positioning, especially when traversing slopes (up or down) typical of landfill construction/conditions. 3. The fence configuration shall be a canopy design to capture and contain windblown litter as wind direction changes slightly without having to change the fence unit orientation. 4. Shall be designed such that fence unit will not topple when 100% loaded/plugged at 65 MPH wind speed. 5. Designed to allow the fence unit to drop litter out of canopy once lifted by equipment and prior to relocating fence. 6. Fences designed to be placed in tight alignment with each other to minimize litter passing between adjoining fences. 7. Frame constructed of structural steel to meet wind load requirements. 8. Minimum overall dimensions are 20 ft in width/length, 15 ft in height, and 8 ft in depth, and weighing a minimum of 3600 lbs. 9. Corrosion resistant welded wire mesh with approximately 1.5 inch square opening installed on back, top and sides of canopy frame. 10. Minimum three-year warranty which shall cover defects in materials or workmanship. 11. F.O.B. destination, which is 6001 Bluff Rd Lincoln NE 68517 12. Seller is not required to assemble fence at the delivery address. The City will secure the resources to complete the fence assembly after delivery.
