Site work for a development in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.
The project involves arborist removal of 48 trees and clearing and grubbing of an additional 3.3 acres of well-established tree and brush growth. Brush, tree, and rootball material will require hauling and offsite disposal. This will require access from right of way, traffic control, and other necessary incidental items. Sealed bids must be submitted in envelopes accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond in an amount not less than five percent of the amount bid, made payable to the Treasurer, Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, as security that the bidder to whom the award is made will enter into a contract to complete the project and furnish the required bonds. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening without consent of the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District for 45 days after closing. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Plans and specifications may be inspected at the District office or obtained electronically by email from Houston Engineering. All bidders are encouraged to request plans electronically to ensure receipt of all addendums prior to the bid date. Questions shall be addressed in writing to: Mr. Connor Kelley, P.E.
