Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Newport, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The City is seeking proposals for design-build services to advance the Festival Park project, located along Riverboat Row between the Purple People Bridge and the Taylor Southgate Bridge. The selected team will be responsible for refining concept plans, securing permits, coordinating with the adjacent KYTC Local Public Agency (LPA) multi-use path project, coordinating with Sanitation District No. 1 (SD1) for a utility project through the park, and constructing the approved improvements. All sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "Festival Park Improvement Project". Proposals received after the deadline will not be opened or considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City. Final award is subject to approval by the Newport Board of Commissioners.
