Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of November 12, 2025, the project was awarded to Smith-Sondy Asphalt Construction, with an awarded amount of $577,302.72** Lawlins Road, Section I, Lawlins Road, Section II, and Spring Meadow Drive Pedestrian Safety Improvements The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Base Bid 1 Lawlins Road, Section I: The milling and resurfacing of Lawlins Road from 130 feet north of Fieldstone Terrace to Wyckoff Township limits. Contract work also includes the reconstruction of sidewalk, curb, driveway, upgrading noncompliant ADA curb ramps, installation of regulatory and warning signs, and construction of guide rail. Base Bid 2: Lawlins Road, Section II: The milling and resurfacing of Lawlins Road from Franklin Avenue [CR84A-502] to 130 feet north of Fieldstone Terrace. Contract work also includes the road widening at Franklin Avenue and Lawlins Road intersection, reconstruction of sidewalk, curb, driveway, upgrading noncompliant ADA curb ramps, installation of regulatory and warning signs and construction of guide rail. Base Bid 3: Spring Meadow Drive Pedestrian Safety: The installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacon crosswalk systems at Spring Meadow Drive and Wyckoff Avenue [CR87] intersection. Contract work also includes reconstruction of sidewalk, curb, construction of compliant ADA curb ramps and a retaining wall. Alternate Bid A Lawlins Road Paving: The milling and resurfacing of Lawlins Road from 180 feet north of [CR84-502] to 40 feet north of Burritt Place. Alternate Bid B Lawlins Road Curb: The construction of new curb along the west curbline of Lawlins Road from NYSW Railroad to Gae Wood Drive. Contract work also includes drainages improvement, installing new inlet, and pipes. Principal items of work in the project include: Base Bid 1 Lawlins Road, Section I: . 2,720 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less . 605 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course . 280 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick . 680 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Base Bid 3: Spring Meadow Drive Pedestrian Safety: . 130 L.F. 9" x 20" Concrete Vertical Curb . 2 UNIT Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Crosswalk System . 25 S.F. Retaining Wall, Location No. 1 Alternate Bid A Lawlins Road Paving: . 2,775 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less . 470 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course Alternate Bid B Lawlins Road Curb: . 345 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Each Bid Must Be Made Upon the Prescribed Forms, Furnished With the Contract Drawings and Specifications, Including the Non-collusion Affidavit and Ownership Statement Compliance Form and Must Be Accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond of Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent of the Amount Bid and, Not to Exceed $20,000.00. Such Checks and Bonds Shall Be Made Payable to the Owner and Will Be Held as a Guarantee That in the Event the Bid is Accepted and a Contract Awarded to the Bidder, the Contract Shall Be Duly Executed and Its Performance Properly Secured. The Successful Bidder Shall Furnish and Deliver to the Owner a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Accepted Bid Amount as Security for the Faithful Performance and Payment of the Contract. Further, the Successful Bidder Must Furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance Required by the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Bids Pursuant Concrete Vertical Curb the Work Contemplated Under This Contract Shall Be Completed Within 75 Calendar Days of Notice to Proceed. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
