Salt Dome Repair and Restoration All questions regarding this invitation to bid should be directed by email to Kathy Chambers, Senior Buyer Procurement Analyst, City of West Haven, at kchambers@westhaven-ct.gov. The request for information deadline is noon Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025. The City of West Haven is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the repairand restoration of the Salt Dome, located at Collis Street, West Haven, CT 06516. The selected contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of roof shingles, structural repairs, and reinforcement of key components to ensure the integrity and longevity of the structure. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Roof Shingle Replacement o Remove and replace all roof shingles and flashing. o Install 40-year shingles to enhance durability and longevity. Panel Repairs and Reinforcement o Repair and/or replace two (2) panels that have been displaced at the rear of the building. o Reinforce structural integrity to prevent future displacement. Fan Dormer Repair o Repair and/or replace the fan dormer to eliminate leakage and prevent further damage. Structural Panel Repairs o Replace damaged structural panels and missing 2x6 support beams. Additional Optional Work Installation of a New Exhaust Fan and Louver Installation of a Roll-Up Fabric Door
