Site work for a water / sewer project in Pitman, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The proposed work includes the following major items: 700 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe watermain, 400 linear feet of 9"x18" concrete vertical curb, 260 square yards of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk, and 1 complete wet tap unit. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, with the bond or certified check not exceeding $20,000, made payable to the Borough of Pitman. All blank spaces in the proposal must be filled in, and no changes are allowed in the phraseology or item descriptions. All requested information in the specifications must be included with the proposal. Any erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form must be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten days after award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Applicable bonds or letters must be from a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List and authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with state requirements regarding affirmative action, prevailing wages, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Contractors must submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and provide proof of New Jersey business registration for themselves and any subcontractors. Bids must be prepared on standard forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled for the project and addressed to the Borough Clerk. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid deemed in its interest. No refund is provided for document or shipping costs. Estimated budget: $250,000 to $325,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
