DISCLAIMER: ALL QUALIFIED BIDDERS/CONTRACTORS INTENT ON SUBMITTING A BID PROPOSAL FOR THIS PROJECT ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER THEIR COMPANY WITH, AND OBTAIN ORIGINAL BID DOCUMENTS FROM, FRAYTAK VEISZ HOPKINS DUTHIE, PC (FVHD) ARCHITECTS-PLANNERS, 1515 LOWER FERRY ROAD, TRENTON, NEW JERSEY 08618, (609) 883-7101 Pitman Board of Education ("Owner") will receive bids for Toilet Room Renovations at Pitman Elementary School, together with all work incidental thereto. Bids will be received for: Single Overall Contract (DPMC Classifications: C009 with C030 and C047). Question Deadline 11/26/2025 All Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted in writing by and sent to info@fvhdpc.com, or fax to 609-883-2694 or via common carrier to the Architect at the address indicated above. All correspondence must include the Architect's Project Name and Project Number referenced. The Architect is not responsible for misdirected or misrouted correspondence, The Board of Education and the Architect assume no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. If the bid exceeds $20,000, bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), in the abovelisted classifications prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Prequalification/Classification Certificate shall be rejected as being non-responsive to the bid requirements. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. Also, Surety agrees to furnish bidder with a Maintenance Bond in required form. The Consent of Surety shall be executed by an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 2A:44-143, and 2A:44-144 and with AM BEST rating of A- or better companies nationally recognized. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities in the bidding in accordance with applicable law. Bid Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and clearly marked "BID" with the contract title and/or bid number on the outside of the envelope and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. Doc Notes: Bid Documents for the proposed Work are on file at the office of the Architect, Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C., 1515 Lower Ferry Road, Trenton, NJ 08618, tel. 609.883.7101. Bid Documents are available for no fee from the Architect's website. The Work consists of but is not limited to the following: 1. Existing Building Alterations: a. Toilet Room Renovations: 1) 7-total existing Toilet Rooms in entire building. 2) Toilet Room renovations: a) Ground Level, 2 Toilet Rooms. b) First Level, 2 Toilet Rooms. c) Second Level, 3 Toilet Rooms. Plumbing Work includes: a. New and demolition work to support Toilet Room Renovations including removal and replacement of Mixing Valves, Trap Primers, Water Closets, Urinals, Wall-Mounted Lavatories, Drains, Clean Outs, Water Hammer Arrestors, Ball & Angle-Stop Valves, and additional associated accessory demolitions/removals and replacements as indicated or required to allow for alteration. b. Work shall include all Domestic Water and Sanitary/Vent piping, cutting, patching, finishing, tie-ins to existing systems, controls and accessories as indicated or required 3. Electrical Work includes: a. Remove and replace the existing light fixtures as shown on the drawings. The lights shall be controlled with manual key switches and ultrasonic occupancy sensors. b. Provisions for new branch circuits to the new lighting and hand dryers c. Replace the existing zoned fire alarm system detectors and alarm indicators with new zoned detectors and alarm indicators. 4. All other indicated work.
