The work consists of HVAC Renovations at Pitman Elementary School, including all work incidental to this scope. Bids will be received for a Single Overall Contract requiring DPMC Classification: C032 with C009, C030, and C047. Bidders must submit proposals in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the contract title and/or bid number. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. If the bid exceeds $20,000, the bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the specified classifications prior to bid receipt. Bids must also include a Consent of Surety from a company authorized to do business in New Jersey with an AM BEST rating of A- or better, agreeing to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each for 100% of the contract sum, and a Maintenance Bond. Bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and possess a current certificate of compliance. The project is subject to the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. The right is reserved to reject all bids or waive minor informalities.
