Renovation of a fire / police facility in Montclair, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Repair of Montclair Fire Station #2 The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to applicable law and regulations, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. All questions, interpretations, clarifications in regard to the specifications must be received at least seven (7) days prior to acceptance of bid/proposal. Question Deadline 10/15/2025 Scope of Work The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed on or before 9 0 days after Notice to Proceed/Purchase order. The successful contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Exterior Painting-Main Firehouse o Repair and replace woodwork as needed o Prep and caulk woodwork o Oil-Prime and paint all woodwork Exterior Painting-Attached Masonry Building o Prep and repair masonry as necessary o Paint all areas of masonry and wood as necessary Exterior Fascia Board Replacement-Attached masonry buildingRemove existing fascia board and drip cap as necessary o Supply and replace all fascia board with composite material o Reinstall drip cap Supply and Install Bilco Door o Remove existing bilco door o Prep masonry as necessary o Supply and install a new bilco door o Caulk and seal as necessary Exterior Wall Repair-Attached Masonry Building o Close up (2) windows with concrete block o Repair deteriorated block wall o Prep and reface block wall-ready for paint Exterior Brick Installation-Attached Masonry Building o Close up (1) door opening and (2) window openings o Prep surface and demo as needed o Supply and install brick in openings o Seal and caulk as necessary Window Replacement-Main Firehouse o 3-section fixed pane window o Remove old window o Supply and install replacement window o Install interior and exterior trim as needed o Caulk and seal as necessaryPaint exterior trim to match Gutter Installation-Attached Masonry Building o Supply and install gutter on rear of building o Supply and install downspout and connect to existing drain pipe Repair Exterior Wood Wall-Attached Masonry Building o Demo existing wood surface as necessary o Prep framing as necessary o Provide and install composite or vinyl materials o Caulk and seal as necessary Replace Exterior Man Door-Attached Masonry Building o Remove existing door o Provide and install exterior door with glass panel o Door to have framesaver brick mold and sillCaulk and seal as necessary Bathroom Ceiling Repair o Remove existing heat lamp fixture o Repair entire bathroom ceiling o Prep, prime, and paint ceiling Sheetrock Repair o Repair sheetrock wall behind shower o Provide and install double access panel for plumbing access o Prep, prime, and paint wall Ceiling Replacement o Demo existing ceiling o Provide and install 1/2 " sheetrock o Provide and install access panel for plumbing above o Prep, prime, paint ceiling Install Lighting o Remove existing lighting in ceiling after ceiling demo o Supply and install (7) recessed, dimmable, LED ceiling fixtures prior to new sheetrock installation o Provide and install (2) 120V dimmer switches *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
