Remodeling of an office development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade office development.
Scope of Services: Remove, relocate, and re-install two HVAC units. The contractor must remove the two HVAC units from the Sacramento Regional Transit District's (SacRT) Engineering Building at 2811 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95816. One HVAC unit is to be reinstalled at SacRT's facility at 1323 28th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816, and the other at SacRT's leased Human Resources building at 2810 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95816, to create functioning HVAC systems at the new locations. The work is public work under California Labor Code, to which prevailing wage requirements apply. Contractor license must be Class A or Class C-20 at the time of award. Subcontractors must operate under the contractor's direction unless they are licensed for work within their scope. Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) will have an equal opportunity to participate; a 5% price preference applies to bidders meeting the SBE participation goal with required forms submitted. Attendance at a scheduled, mandatory site visit is required for prospective bidders to view existing units and installation sites and to ask questions. SacRT will ensure all contractors have the opportunity to participate and will not discriminate based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, age, or national origin in contract consideration.
