Scope The State of California, acting through the Board of Trustees of The California State University, hereinafter called Trustees or BOT, on behalf of Sacramento State University, hereinafter called University, is seeking Design-Builders (Proposers) to provide design and construction services for the project referenced above (Project). The Trustees will select Design-Builder based on qualifications and proposed fees (a design competition is not utilized). Post award, the Design-Builder and the University will work to jointly select an Architect based on qualifications and proposed design fees (best value). The University will then issue a modification to the Phase 1 agreement to reflect the final design fee. Currently, the University is requesting that interested bidders who are not already prequalified with CSU or who may need to request a prequalification limit increase, start the prequalification process. The formal Request for Qualifications is forthcoming; however, interested proposers should not wait until the RFQ is posted to start the prequalification process. The Project consists of: A 22,000-seat NCAA Football Stadium which includes infrastructure, new artificial field, modular seating, modular locker rooms/restrooms/showers/changing facilities, scoreboard and press box. The current grandstands offer seating capacity at around 5,000 seats. Project will consist of adding an additional 17,000 seats.
