As of October 23, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project involves the installation of a 4" concrete slab to surround the installed sculpture foundation in Upper Bradley Park. The required scope includes installing an isolation joint between the slab and the existing foundation and installing dowel bars between the new slab and the existing sidewalk. Contractors must refer to the attached drawing and specifications for dimensions and material requirements. The work must be completed by November 30, 2025. Contractors are responsible for verifying all elevations and measurements before submitting quotes, contacting JULIE before digging, and ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, rules, and national building codes. Prevailing wage rates as specified by the State of Illinois Department of Labor must be paid. The owner may engage a qualified independent testing agency for material evaluation and concrete mix design, and the contractor is required to cooperate with this agency to meet all standards and testing requirements.
