The City of Florence seeks bids for the Banklick Street Water Main Improvements Project. The work includes all material, labor, equipment, and installation required to complete all elements of the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond of not less than five percent of the aggregate bid amount. Successful bidders will be required to provide construction contract security in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the bid. Bids must be submitted on the required Bid Form, with two completed copies provided. Bidders must purchase bid documents from Viox & Viox, Inc. to qualify as registered bidders, and no substitution of Contractors will occur without a change of registration. Contractors are responsible for all construction safety practices, complete maintenance of traffic plans, and implementation. Digital plans and specifications in PDF or hard copy may be ordered from Viox & Viox, Inc. for a fee per set. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors must be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC).NOTE: Contractor must be on the KYTC Prequalified Contractors List in order to submit a bid. Contractors shall be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and will be responsible for all construction safety practices, complete maintenance of traffic plans & implementation.
