Site work and paving for a road / highway in Florence, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The Bustetter Drive & Freida Place-Street Improvements Project includes all material, labor, equipment, and installation required to complete all elements of the street improvements. Bidders must submit sealed bids, with each bid accompanied by either a cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the aggregate bid amount. Successful bidders are required to provide construction contract security in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the bid. All bids must be submitted using the required Bid Form, with two completed copies required. Bidders must purchase the bid documents from Viox & Viox, Inc. to qualify as registered bidders. No substitution of contractors is permitted without change of registration. Bidders are responsible for all construction safety practices and the complete maintenance of traffic plans and their implementation. Pre-qualification requirements: Contractors must be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Questions from contractors during the bidding process should be submitted in writing, via email or fax, to Viox & Viox, Inc., SUBJECT: "COF-BUSTETTER DRIVE & FREIDA PLACE STREET IMPROVEMENTS" Send email to smcmillan@vioxinc.com and dmichels@vioxinc.com or Fax to 859 727-8452, ATTN Sandy McMillan and Dominic Michels. Questions must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the bid date.
