Bordeaux Construction, as Construction Manager for Wake County Public School System, is accepting subcontractor bids for the Brentwood Elementary School project. The project encompasses the construction of a 108,750-square-foot, two-story elementary school building with associated utilities and site improvements. The structure includes load-bearing masonry and steel framing, with concrete spread footings and strip foundations. The exterior consists of brick veneer, formed metal wall panels, metal stud backup, and a modified bitumen membrane roofing system. Major systems required are fire sprinkler (wet & dry), plumbing (including vapor mitigation, fixtures, and pumps), mechanical (including air coolers, chillers, AHUs, VAVs, and other equipment), and electrical (including main switchboard, fire alarm, communication, security, solar, and generator). Interior finishes include hard tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient and carpet tile flooring, wood flooring, resin matrix terrazzo, various Division 10 specialties, athletic equipment, casework, window treatments, furnishings, and food service equipment. Fencing requirements include permanent chain link, ornamental aluminum, and opaque wood fencing, while landscaping covers seeded lawns, sod for play areas, and plantings. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with details provided by Bordeaux Construction.
