Question Cut Off Date: 10/27/2025 12:00:00 PM (ET) All Questions Regarding This Solicitation Must Be Submitted online. SCOPE OF WORK _ This project consists of the paving of Culler Rd, between Calvary Church Rd and the Calhoun County line, as described in the plans. The total length of the project is approximately 1.4 miles. _ The work includes clearing & grubbing, grading, paving, installation of storm drainage, etc. 4. PROJECT NOTES _ This project ties into Calvary Church Rd (S-164) and Culler Rd (S-433). Please carefully review the approved SCDOT Encroachment Permit for additional requirements associated with this contract. _ Bidders must be listed on the SCDOT Prequalified Prime Contractor list as the time of the bid opening. _ All Quality Control testing will be the responsibility of the Contractor. _ Quality Assurance testing shall be conducted by an independent testing firm on an as-needed basis and at the discretion of the Engineer following the procedures defined in the SCDOT Standard Specifications. _ Erosion Control is paid for per individual pay items. Maintenance of the erosion control items will be paid for under the Lump Sum Bid Item. _ The Contractor will be responsible for continuing utility coordination for the duration of the construction project within the project schedule. A regularly scheduled coordination meeting is suggested to be coordinated and held by the Contractor. _ All existing roadway signage shall be relocated, reused, or replaced as indicated on the plans or as deemed necessary to perform the work. If the roadway remains open to traffic during construction, all signs that are to be relocated shall be erected in a temporary manner that does not impede traffic flow. Lexington County to provide and erect all new permanent signs shown on plans. _ The Contractor is required to develop and distribute a project flyer detailing the project, schedule, primary contacts, etc. The flyer must be approved by Lexington County prior to distribution. _ The Contractor shall appoint a representative that will be responsible for all maintenance and construction activities throughout the duration of the project. This person should also serve as the 24 hour emergency contact. This representative shall be present for the Pre-Construction meeting where names and numbers will be provided.
