As of 11/25/2025 Lorain County Board of Commissioners adopted Res#25-774 on November 18, 2025 rejecting a bid received for the Lorain/Medina C.B.C.F. Epoxy Floor Replacement Project and authorize a re-bid for this project after January 1, 2026 All contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders shall submit a list of equipment available, and all labor shall be paid no less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division. Question Deadline 10/30/2025 at 12:00 PM ET: Any interpretation, correction, or modification to the specifications desired shall be submitted in writing to the Lorain County Administrator, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any, and all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so.
