Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labor necessary to complete the work. This project includes the design, layout, and construction of new playground equipment at West Park in the City of Elyria, Ohio. The contractor and any subcontractor must comply with prevailing wage rate requirements for public improvements in Lorain County and the City of Elyria, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations that apply to the work. State assisted construction projects are subject to Presidential Executive Order 11246, as amended, and the January 27, 1972, Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Order of the Governor of Ohio, as well as regulations set forth by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. No proposal will be considered unless it is made on the blanks furnished by the City. No bidder shall take any exception to any requirement of the specifications. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Bidders must be pre-certified or submit an acceptable Affirmative Action Plan with the bid submission. The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids received, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates which is deemed most favorable to the City of Elyria, Ohio at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents.
