Site work for a water / sewer project in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the installation of 4,325 feet of 8" - 15" PVC (SDR26) sanitary sewer including 15 precast concrete manholes and other incidental items as shown on the plans prepared by the Office of the Elyria City Engineer. Questions related to the project will be accepted until 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 25, 2025. Questions should be directed to engineer@cityofelyria.org. BID SECURITY: The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC and the Instructions to Bidders. COMPLETION TIME: The contractor will have until December 19, 2025 to substantially complete the project. AWARD OF CONTRACT: The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids received, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates which is deemed most favorable to the City of Elyria, Ohio at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents.
