**As of July 16, 2025, the project was awarded Sandstone Excavating LLC, with an awarded amount of $74,124.05.** The scope of work includes: removal of log jams, sediment, and obstructions, erosion control, and site restoration, see packet for details. The County intends and requires the work to be completed within one hundred twenty days from Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 05/13/2025 Bidders shall direct any request for interpretation, correction, or modification of the specifications to the Lorain County Stormwater District, 226 Middle Ave, 5 th Floor. Requests must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informalities or irregularities, if deemed to be in the best interest of Lorain County.
