Renovation of a municipal facility in Montgomery, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are invited for space renovation for Probate, Revenue, and ALEA in Montgomery, Alabama. All general contractors must visit the site and examine all existing conditions before submitting a proposal and arrange this with the Probate Office. Bidders must have general liability and workman's compensation insurance. The project is to be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the architect. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety days after bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors in the interest of the owner. A certified check or bid bond payable to the Montgomery County Probate Court in an amount not less than 5% of the bid, up to $10,000, must accompany each proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Bidders bidding in excess of the state threshold must be licensed and must clearly display their current license number on the envelope containing the proposal. All General Contractors Bidding on This Project Shall Be Required to Visit the Site and Examine All Existing Conditions Prior to Submitting Their Proposal and Shall Be Arranged by the Contractor with the Probate Office. Project documents can be viewed and printed through the official procedure on the architect's website. Addendums will be provided to entities that have confirmed bidding. All requests for printed sets must be submitted to the architect, and print sets must be returned in reusable condition within ten days after bid opening. All RFIs and RFAs must use specified forms found in the project manual; inquiries via telephone or fax will not be accepted. Completion time and further details on the scope of work are given in the project manual. The contractor is to ensure proper supervision of all work. Question Deadline 10/17/2025
